RestorativeJustice101 is a project of restorative justice advocated Martin Howard. Martin has spent nearly three decades advancing restorative justice practice, policy, and education across six continents—from prison programmes in Australia to international forums shaping the future of the field.
He is the creator of RJ World, an international forum connecting justice leaders from more than 50 countries to exchange research, training approaches, and policy innovations. This work reflects his commitment to strengthening governance capacity and building bridges across diverse justice traditions worldwide.
Martin serves on the Global Steering Council of Restorative Justice International, where he helps shape worldwide advocacy priorities and mentors emerging regional networks. As a Founding Member of Restorative Practices International (Queensland), he contributes to strategic direction, accreditation standards, and practitioner development—bringing intelligent online innovation to how practitioners learn and grow.
He is the trainer and facilitator for the Sycamore Tree Project (Queensland) as a volunteer with Prison Fellowship.
